Globish and the way English is taught and learned in Dalian   no comments

Based on what I have seen and heard about the way that English is being taught in Dalian, I have felt more and more that there must be a better way than taking the whole or Oxford/Cambridge English approach.

A few years ago, I encountered a mention of Globish in an article by Robert McCrum who reports in The Guardian. Since then he has published several more articles and a book whose cover illustration appears to the left of this text.

About a month ago I sent an email query to the Globish – www.globish.com – info email address. In the weeks following that I have had email exchanges and Skype conversations with Christian Jud, who works and lives in Mission BC, Jean-Paul Nerriere, who gave birth to Globish a few years ago based on his own experience as an international executive with IBM and Peugeot as well as with David Hon, who co-authored “Globish, World Over” and Globish in Globish a course delivered by Internet to web clients and Internet enabled mobile phones.

Step by step I have been getting into the case for Globish and expect to work with the above to develop and implement a business development plan for a Globish business in China.
